This was a really big ace moment for Asahi, and the start of the battle between these 2 aces started in this panel too as you can see Aran who failed to receive Asahi’s serve.

BokuAka: This was a game Akaashi looked back on when he was anxious in that Fukurodani match later on. It’s why his commentaries are there.

Also, I really recommend reading the manga. But it’s okay for you to start reading from the nationals arc or Inarizaki match, since for the past seasons the animation was really on point!!

(Tokyo Training Arc in Anime is much longer than the manga which I found awesome btw.)

And just so you know, there were 6 and a half chapters from the manga that were animated in this episode.

While Ep 14 had 3 chapters animated.
