I saw a tweet float by daring high-follower tech people to do job interviews including all the code challenges and...perhaps they were speaking to white men?

because I have _never_ been exempted from code challenges
if anything, being a high-follower """influencer""" means my interviews are harder, because the interviewers want to see if I'm really all that
being "known" means I can usually skip the initial introduction stage--which is extremely valuable!--but then I'm tossed into the hiring pipeline alongside everyone else
I have had several instances of code challenges being harder or even a complete surprise, because the interviewer learned it was me and wanted to "try something new"
