the difference between agere and ddlg: a VERY needed thread.

so let’s start with what even is agere? agere is short for age regression, or, little space. this is a coping mechanism some people chose use to deal with trauma that happened from an early age that might’ve effected their childhood.

people who are littles will age regress or chose to regress in difficult or stressful situations so they don’t have to deal with the issues happening in front of them. some will like to color or play with toys, drink from bottles suck on pacifiers etc. some littles will have +

a cg (care giver) who acts as a parental role because, as actual children do, littles need help with tasks and functioning. this space and relationship should ALWAYS be COMPLETELY sfw (safe for work) this space isn’t a sexual thing and is used to cope.

now to explain ddlg. ddlg stands for daddy dom little girl. this is when someone has a kink for age regression. so while a person is in the headspace of a child, their “cg” will get turned on by it. this behavior is disgusting and is pedophilia.

this should never be tolerated ever. it is DISGUSTING to be turned on by someone who is in the space of a baby or toddler. this is never and will never be the same as agere. agere is a safe space for people with trauma and sexualizing that is horrible to do.

i made this thread because many believe agere is pedophilia and sexual, but it isnt. at all. it is just a coping mechanism for childhood trauma or lack of a childhood. please understand the difference and take the time to educate yourself about this topic. it is so important.
