Since this discussion about stan twitter and age is still going on, lemme add this additional layer of nuance.
Y'all ageist AF.
And once again I don't mean to adults hypersexualizing minors or barely legal idols old enough to be their kids. I mean to ppl 25+ who just be here.

Y'all know we are the same age as some of the idols you be thirsting after, right? How exactly did we age out of kpop just bc we're not calling them oppa? Y'all think because we have degrees and full-time jobs that we're disqualified from listening to music?!
Most of us are not saying we want XYZ to break our backs, especially not the idols who way younger than us. We are perfectly capable of being stans without venturing over to the x-rated side. Hell, if anything, you should be thanking us adults and our expendable income.
Who do you think is paying for those $350+ VIP tickets? Who do you think is lapping up $40 Marvel x Super M t-shirts or multiple versions of albums? It's the adults with those full-time jobs. You might be the "target market" abroad but your faves are in the US bc we foot the bill
All the "you're too old for kpop, you should be married/having kids" drags gotta stop. Grow up and confront whatever issues you have with authority figures and realize that big bad adults are not the villains you want us to be. Cuz guess what? In a few years, you're gonna be one.
ok one more time cuz it bears repeating: please register to vote if you are eligible for the US election. It's not too late! https://www.vote.org/
