What is this @liberal_party fetish with foodbanks? Another $100m going to food banks today. If the Liberals were so concerned about food insecurity and people living in poverty, they'd be giving that money DIRECTLY to people. @JustinTrudeau @cafreeland @UN_Enable @CdnHumanRights

If they are too cruel to allow people to pick their own food in a dignified manner, in a grocery store like everyone else, then perhaps they should have to stay on a foodbank diet for as long as it takes for them to understand that they are directly sickening vulnerable people

like people with disabilities, by denying them an Article 28 of the UN CRPD 'Adequate standard of living.' This should include an amount enough to buy nutritious food at a grocery store.

They should be required to tell us how sick and malnourished they got while living on

foodbank fare. If the @liberal_party was sincere in helping people with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups, they should vow to make this year the LAST time they will donate heavily to food banks and start INVESTING in the health and wellbeing of people with disabilities

and others.

Food banks should ONLY ever be used for dire emergencies, and not the government's personal welfare system so their rich friends can get big tax breaks through their donations.
