There are now 179 cases in hospital with 30 in ICU. Our positivity rate for last 24 hours was over 5%.

If this continues, I am beyond certain more people will die this winter season (October to March) in Ireland than died in Spring.

This is a national crisis, not a Flu.
Enough of the bullshit squabbles over the pandemic for one thing.

Level 3, Level 5, Level 400, FG did this, SF did that, NPHET did the other.

We are all Irish and on the same team.

We can turn this around by sticking together, not throwing sticks at each other.
Everyone on the same hymn sheet here.

On an individual basis, it does not matter what level we are at.

Your daily decisions on what friends you spend time with and how, are not determined by the Government.

That's your choice.
The venues where people have less choice, sometimes no choice - like DP, nursing homes and meat plants - have been very well protected over the last 6 weeks with very few clusters.

That won't last if we reach Northern Ireland level of infection.

The virus will get back in.
I know that because Northern Ireland is dealing with a whopping 47 nursing home outbreaks today, 36 confirmed, 11 suspected.

They had ZERO nursing home outbreaks on this day 2 months ago.

What changed is community infection is 40 times higher now than then.
We need to all get together on this and pull in the same direction.

There will be bundles of time, decades, to argue with each other over a whole variety of things.

There will not be decades for everyone, though, many people are going to die.

We have to stand firm together.
