Deeply manipulative and insulting to have trans woman @mridul_wadhwa who manages a rape crisis center talking on @guardian podcast about why it’s absolutely fine for trans women to be in single sex spaces like refuges and rape crisis centres

Without offering an opposing view from a survivor or service provider who don’t think this is acceptable. Wadwha can be heard laughing at the idea of services that don’t include trans women in women’s single sex services. All focused on risk of Transwomen being low

Rather than the needs-and rights -of women to single sexual space for recovery from male violence. I don’t think a rape crisis centre for women should be managed by a trans woman and certainly not one who is specifically and vocally advocating for the erasure of female boundaries
