In a group chat with 40 or so influential members of the Boro Park Hasidic community, Heshy Tischler threw a fit like a child when they pushed him to curb his dangerous behavior.

Here, you can see him saying that he won’t “fight for you anymore” before leaving the chat.

The takeaways:

1. Tischler doesn’t actually have communal support. They are frustrated with how their community is being perceived and are trying to deal with this quietly.

2. He’s a narcissist who very obviously is only doing this for himself.

He, of course, won’t actually stop without stronger communal pushback, and without any legal consequences for his actions.

But this says a lot even so.
