1. The Manager
If Pep leaves (which is likely), I want Nagelsmann at my club. Young charismatic, and great tactical knowledge, he would excel at City. Nagelsmann > Poch btw

If Nagelsmann plays a back three we would need another defender. He's worked with Nagelsmann before, and showed he's incredibly good at it. Dayot Upamecano. For only £40 million. Bargain imo

2.1. Backup defender
If Nagelsmann comes in, he prefers to play with a back three, so we would most likely need another backup defender, assuming THB isn't ready yet. John Egan is my target, £20 million should be a good deal for him. Solid defender, and a leader. Want him.

Once again, if Nagelsmann comes in, I would want Mendy to stay bc he would play as a wing back (more attacking freedom, less defensive responsibility). I would want Angelino back (who flourished under Nagelsmann last season) to provide comp. to Mendy in the wing back role.

Either Fernandinho signs a one year contract extension, or we use the clause to bring back Douglas Luiz. Doesn't matter which one, we just need one of them. And finally sell Gundogan. Given his age, I think £25 million would be a fair price.

Bring in Messi. Mahrez is a good player, but Messi is miles better. Off the pitch, the financial boost from that signing would be immense. More fans coming, jersey sales, revenue, etc. And he would cost nothing. Signing of the century imo

If we get Messi, the options at RW would be immense (Bernardo, Foden, Messi, Mahrez) and we need to sell one of them. Given Mahrez's age, he would go. I'm confident we could sell him for £60 million, which is actually not a bad deal at all....

Sign an Aguero replacement. I want Haaland. He would only cost £63 million, and he's generational. Loan Delap out to a Championship side, and either sign Aguero to a contract extension or have Jesus. Doubt Jesus would want to be 3rd choice, so that brings me to.....

8. Sell Jesus
He probably wouldn't want to be here playing backup. He has amazing potential, but I can't see a scenario where he wants to stay. We could probably get £80 - 90 million for him, which is a great profit.
