It’s not that.
We simply think that Klopp and his coaching staff have a better idea of who should be playing for Liverpool, and what tactics we should use, than an FT account chasing clout. We don’t think insulting players or an owner’s wife on Twitter dot com helps anything.

There’s a difference between being a follower, a fan, and a supporter. As Ljinders himself said, you’re not a supporter if you don’t SUPPORT. That means being a source of strength—of solidarity. Picking and choosing when you support, or the player you support, is meaningless.
A couple days ago, one of these “fans” tried to justify to me that “You’ll Never Walk Alone” has its own meaning and that he sticks to it “almost every time,” as a way of justifying going after a reserve GK.

I typed all this because we just got done celebrating the fifth anniversary a wonderful manager—a person who has been the most positive presence in the club that I can recall for decades. His message to us has been consistent and pure: it comes down to belief and support.
It comes down to not giving up on the team, and willing them on.
Even when they’re behind.
