probably going to start discourse with this but "former" nazis probably shouldn& #39;t be allowed into left spaces imo
being a conservative is different because a lot of people got those views from their parents and at least they changed but being a nazi requires a lot more like thought? like you don& #39;t just randomly become a nazi one day you have to consciously make that choice
not saying conservatism is good ofc it& #39;s just that if you become a nazi you have to make yourself believe a lot of horrible stuff that you should probably realize is bad? at least when people get conservative views from their parents its usually just because they didn& #39;t no better
*know better, and at least they realized that those beliefs were bad. becoming a nazi requires you to actively make that choice so like idc you still "used to" literally believe you were the "master race" and a ton of other horrible shit that you should have realized was bad
also I& #39;m not saying that being racist because your parents were is a good excuse btw
