(1) When will this malpractice by DC 911 stop? @OUC_DC dispatched 3 units to the wrong quadrant for a reported cardiac arrest last night. But that& #39;s not the bad part. When OUC got the correct location, they didn& #39;t tell any of the units about the new address!!! (more) #FIXDC911
(2) LISTEN: Engine 4, Medic 8 & EMS 1 were dispatched to Michigan Avenue in Northwest. The correct location was Northeast, but each unit had to discover for themselves there was an updated address. Isn& #39;t it @OUC_DC& #39;s job to tell them? Especially on a high priority call? (more)
(3) LISTEN: Shouldn& #39;t priority one be to make sure @dcfireems has the correct address? Why is @OUC_DC waiting around for the units to scroll through notes to discover the new info? You may recall another recent cardiac arrest call where this occurred. It was a month ago. (more)
(4) Of course, it& #39;s unlikely we& #39;ll ever learn a thing about these cardiac arrest calls thanks to @OUC_DC& #39;s complete lack of transparency & accountability. We still don& #39;t know why these 2 CPR calls from May & June were sent to the wrong address. https://bit.ly/3d9Rx8J ">https://bit.ly/3d9Rx8J&q... (more)
(5) BTW, if @OUC_DC properly trained staff on landmarks, key bldgs & geography they& #39;d have known, like Engine 4, the initial address didn& #39;t compute. There are no apartments near 130 Michigan Ave. NW. The even side is McMillan Reservoir & the odd side is Children& #39;s Hospital.(more)
(6) @makejdm & @WatchAdam report Congress is now questioning DC 911& #39;s chaos & confusion. After a year of highlighting these problems, I don& #39;t want Congress meddling. Instead, I want @MayorBowser @SafeDC & @charlesallen to do their jobs & #FIXDC911. (more)
