The argument about screenshotting NFTs is pathetic. Do they not realize all valuable art is available in print form? This doesn't replace the value of a verified artwork that has actual resale value. How many "Mona Lisa" prints exist? How many similarly created artworks?
I've no idea about the platforms or tokens, this thread isn't for that discussion. But I think the general arguments against digital art nfts are very weak. I don't see the difference between paper and bytes and if anything digital nfts have greater verifiability.
Enhanced speculative purposes/liquidity will provide some short-term value but this is probably a trend that will take a decade to come around. One could also argue arts primary use is money laundering/tax manipulation so on that front NFTs will take a while to really replace.
