Real talk - I thought a data cleaning task would be easy, so I took a short cut. I was wrong bc of size issues. I stubbornly thought THIS TIME (each time) it would work.
I had a talk with myself last night and resolved to just write the code I should have written Tuesday.

I'll write the code in under 45 minutes and be fine.
20 years into data work and I still do this.

In theory I know how to write this code, just have never done it myself. Because I devalue my own learning, I just didn't spend the time learning the application up front.
Now I'm taking the time to figure out where the clause goes and it will be fine.

I started this thread when I started the coding. I just finished it and it works.
I massively overestimate how long it takes me to learn and underestimate how long it takes to 'short cut'
