 Kavita can't apply for a credit card or a loan without a man cosigning.
 Kavita can be exempt from serving on a jury because she’s a woman.

Thankfully, because of the hard work of #RuthBaderGinsburg & her colleagues, these scenarios are no longer true.

3 weeks ago, US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away. Given her age & health concerns, this wasn't surprising but it was still tragic news.

At 87 years old, Ginsburg was a beloved feminist icon known as the #NotoriousRBG who fought tirelessly for equal rights over her six-decades-long career.

As sad as RBG’s passing is, it is important to honor her legacy. The best way to do that is to keep the forward momentum towards gender equality going. It’s time for our generation, as well as the ones coming up after us, to take up the torch & continue the fight.
