The thing about this generation in power is a common denominator of accepting and wanting to hold all the power in the situation while wanting nothing to do with the responsibility and the blame that should accompany it. It's how they run their homes too.
They want to control the youth as if we are cattle that have no reasoning whatsoever and still blame us for the repercussions of their terrible leadership decisions. The same way they'd "lay down the law" in the home but still blame the children for the divide between them
If you hold the power in the situation then you also hold the responsibility for how it goes and it's up to you to sit down and do the work of fixing it. The sad thing though is how their response to the mess is to create an even bigger mess.
I really don't see a peaceful path to fixing Nigeria. These wicked people that did this to us just have to pay and the people that they have frustrated to a numbness will wake up one day and decide that they require their leaders' heads as retribution.
You push a people to the wall and press them against it, they will push back. It's cause and effect, something these pot-bellied politicians should be scared of. On that day, their guns won't save them. Their mindless dogs in uniform won't save them. Only death will save them...
