apple: very common. has a weird mouth. threatening aura. it looks nice before you zoom in, 6/10

google: cute, i like the art style. HOWEVER the gradient is throwing me off. also, why does the fish have lips? 4/10

microsoft: VERY CUTE. definitely friends with everyone at school but doesn’t fit within a particular friend group and ends up feeling left out even though everyone loves them. very rectangular. original. the thick lineart works, somehow. 9/10

samsung: oh my god it is in pain someone please save it 2/10

whatsapp: looks afraid. in need of a hug. scales are defined, which is a good attempt at originality but the lack of scales everywhere throws me off. still looks like a good friend. 3/10

twitter: very simplistic and nice! if you stare at it too long it will suck out your soul. 4/10

facebook: LOOK AT THE COLOURS!! very friendly and easy to love, cute fins! 1000/10

joypixels: what. 1/10

openmoji: facing the other way for some reason? very simple, the lineart is neat and this is a very aesthetically pleasing minimalist fish!! 10/10

emojidish: it’s interesting that this fish is a different type to the others, the colours are very nice and the eyes look friendly. points for originality. 7/10

messenger: no words needed. 9/10 (look at this blue guy!! everyone say hi!!)

LG: good attempt, i can see what they were trying to do. looks very chill. would hang out with you during lunch if you’re lonely. 7.5/10

htc: bold move, diverting from the classic blue fish. the design is cute and small, looks like a fun little fella who plays a lot of tag at recess. 9/10

mozilla: very round! friend shaped! nearly kirby in blue fish form! the open mouth makes the fish look very terrified, but still a good fish. 7.5/10

softbank: VERY NICE OUTLINE! the mouth is opened at just the right amount. once again, a welcome diversion from the typical fish shape! 10/10

docomo: this is more of a logo than a fish, but it’s nice to see some differences. hard to judge. 6/10
