First of two maps today: updated map/cartogram of English covid cases by small area in the week to 04/10.

Each small hexagon⬢ represents an MSOA with a population of around 7,000-10,000. Black lines are local authorities, and areas are grouped into traditional counties, etc.
Here's the first version of this I posted just three weeks ago - a stark contrast. https://twitter.com/carlbaker/status/1306923536024563712
A small proportion of MSOAs (29) now have weekly case totals above 100, with two MSOAs over 500. So this map (with '30+' as the highest category) doesn't allow you to distinguish between 'very high' and 'very very high'. I'll probably adjust the data scales slightly next week.
