#Chandragupt Maurya presence in Gujarat:
In Western Bharat, besides Sindh, Malwa , Gujrat and Kathiyarwar were also included in his dominions.

The Junagarh Rock inscriptions of Rudradaman says that there was a dam constructed on Sudarshan Lake for the purpose of irrigation.

The dam was constructed by Pushyamitra who was Provincial Governer of Chandragupt Maurya.

It clearly proves that province of Saurashtra, in which Junagarh was situated, formed a part of Maurayan Empire.
