Might be a bit divisive, but if you are fresh out of Uni and getting rejected by a lot of art jobs and you feel super frustrated....

Then you need to accept that your folio has a way to go. Uni might prepare you for some things, but it doesnt mean you& #39;ll get a job straight away.

I& #39;ve seen a lot of people feel that they deserve an art job straight out of Uni because they have that piece of paper that tells them they are qualified.

But without that portfolio, its gonna be hard. Keep working on that.

I know I like to try and motivate peeps and tell them & #39;They can do it, etc, etc& #39;

But without putting in that effort, the graft and expecting to be fed the skills with a silver spoon...then you just wont.

Sometimes a reality check is necessary.

You can blame sub par lecturing until you& #39;re blue in the face, but no one is going to hold you hand forever.
