I’m really low level simmering angry. So pls tell me a kind thing someone did for you which you never expected & haven’t forgotten. Ty 💫
Today the pest control man gave me two free ‘ant cafes’ when I told him we had mysterious black ants in the bathroom.
Yesterday N who runs the charity book stall gave me a copy of my book donated to them & wouldn’t take money for it.
I have been treated with so much care & respect by the people at @UQPbooks around my next book, every interaction has been a delight.
An Etsy seller whom I bought some cute things from sent me a few extra cute things bc she said I was so patient & polite.
A ceramicist artist friend gave me an incredible present of a handmade perfume bottle shaped like coral.
An electrician changed two lights in my bathroom which he didn’t have to change (not his fault they broke), & he did it for free.
One of the post office ladies exchanged a pair of reading glasses that broke three days after I bought them even tho I didn’t have the receipt any longer.
Counting your blessings is a very strong antidote to anger & discontent. Remembering kindnesses, for me, diffuses my upset. Thank you for helping me along here, all of you.
