Don& #39;t know if I said this on here or on another unrelated account, but I& #39;m going to say it anyway:
Anti-elitism is incredibly elitist.
Anti-elitism is incredibly elitist.
Like I& #39;ll use two examples of what I mean. With tabletop roleplaying games, seeing someone enjoying engaging with the mechanics and optimising a character, then going: "Um actually it& #39;s about roleplaying that& #39;s all you should be focusing on or you& #39;re not playing right" is just as
bad as someone who completely neglects the roleplaying element to focus entirely on the mechanics.
Example 2: If you& #39;re someone who sees a post where someone asks something like "hey, so, I don& #39;t want to waste resources that I& #39;d have to grind on a sub-optimal build. Can I get suggestions if I& #39;m doing the right thing here" and your response is
"Actually sweaty there& #39;s no correct way to play a game ((((((((:" and keep spamming that shit then fuck you. You& #39;re not helping. You& #39;re a cunt.
For those wondering the thing that prompted me to make this thread was something on reddit. So yeah, I did kinda have it coming when I went to "getting a grenade thrown in your face central" and was all "boy, I sure hope someone doesn& #39;t throw a grenade in my face."
