GUYS I FUCKING FIGURED OUT NANO SHINONOME!

Okay so my hypothesis is that Nano is actually more or less a human trapped in a metal sarcophagus because there is NO WAY for her to have thoughts, feelings, emotions and perception without having an artificial brain as well as having other artificial organs.

She probably got these organs from Hakase using stem cells of herself and then just magically (or scientifically) transforming them into a human organ that is identical to a normal person’s human organs. That’s why she can eat, drink and defecate/urinate no problem.

If this is the case and Nano ended up being more or less a human in a metal coffin then she’d surely be upset and run away without thinking about it. She would act irrationally just as intended because of her being modeled and acting like a teenage girl.

So in order to keep Nano from running away, Hakase would have to confirm to her that she is just a robot. Nothing more nothing less. Implanting these two concepts in her head that “She’s either a robot or a human and you can’t change who you are...” would convince Nano surely.

And with Nano being reassured that she would never be a human she would never dissect herself because she feels pain. Hakase purposely implanted pain receptors into Nano from preventing her from dissecting herself and finding out how she ticks.

And if Nano were to ask Hakase to take out the pain receptors she wouldn’t because she would catch on to what Nano would be doing. Now remember in Nano’s mind, she believes that you’re either a robot or you’re not and not anything in between.

Nano would be devastated to believe that those two constructs she believed all her life was actually a spectrum of constructs and would try to run away and discover who she was. To minimize this, Hakase puts up a childish demeanor. Such demeanor takes a lot of time and effort.

Such time and effort is used by Nano to take care and clean up after Hakase so that she is distracted and not thinking about how she can potentially more-or-less be a HUMAN IN A METAL COFFIN.

Tl;dr:
Nano is a human in a metal coffin and Hakase acts like a child to distract Nano from thinking about this, trapping her into a lifestyle of normalcy.

I’ve surely missed things which I will mention soon enough on this thread. If anyone’s got any questions reply on here or in DMs and I’ll try to clarify.
