While cleaning, I came across the 1st money I ever held.

At least that& #39;s what my mom told me about this old hunk of metal.

I& #39;m condensing my life, purging myself of things I no longer need.

Turning them into sats whenever possible.

Not yet sure what to do with thishttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👇" title="Rückhand Zeigefinger nach unten" aria-label="Emoji: Rückhand Zeigefinger nach unten">
My great granda Laura Volmer wanted me to have it.

I used to call her Gany. She walked the earth until about 1965. I wonder how long she had this coin?

Then it dawned on me, that& #39;s probably pure silver, duh. Now look what this old cleaner did to this old coin. Then I said, I wonder how much is weighs? Sure enough- 1oz. Worth a bit more than face value. My Gany knew about hard money because it used to be that way. Thanks Gany.
Check the date on that @barkeeperfriend- They& #39;ve been around since 1882, probably cleaning a lot of silver. Maybe why they& #39;re still around- someone there probably also knows about hard money.

Ah, but do they know about #Bitcoin https://abs.twimg.com/hashflags... draggable="false" alt=""> ?
Hard money keeps its value

Too bad my great grand kids won& #39;t be able to polish the sats I leave behind

Hope they appreciate the gesture like I do. Glad I got to meet her, even though it was only for a few years of my life

Imagine if she had been able to save thousands of them?
