People are overthinking Jess and Debi not returning as Crash and Coco for Crash 4 too much.
Sometimes for voice gigs, they're a one-time deal. Then other times, the VA's are signed on a multi-year contract. There's no conspiracy or falling out between VA's and the studios. (1/4)

It could be something as simple as TFB not having the capabilities to do long-distance recording sessions, so they just used their own team as well as the few like Lex or Corey who could show up in person.
Or Jess and Debi were too busy to commit to multi-year contracts. (2/4)

Whatever the case may be, I'm 100% positive that there were NO negative reasons for the re-casting. Even if Jess and Debi didn't receive a high enough payment offer. They're VAs, it's they're job. It's a very tough line of work and they're allowed to price themselves high. (3/4)
And regardless of all this, the voice actors we got did an AMAZING job! Some people (including myself) even mistook Scott's performance as Crash for Jess' voice in the Snow Way Out cutscene. So what's even the problem. Don't be like the Sonic fans lol. (4/4)
