SHOCKED by yesterday's (>4K) & Wednesday's (>3K) cases after ~1.5K cases on Tuesday?
Here's something we discovered:
A number of test centers reported "0" cases Tuesday (see image for egs.)

And then Wednesday (>3K cases), some centers that had reported "0" cases on Tuesday reported some (red circle in image for egs.)
Keep an eye on 5. NMCTH, in Biratnagar.
Again, it did NOT report any cases. I.e. no cases even "after" 470 tests over 2 days. #Nepal #COVID19Nepal
And then Wednesday (>3K cases), some centers that had reported "0" cases on Tuesday reported some (red circle in image for egs.)

And BAM, yesterday, 5. NMCTH reported 463 cases (& 628 tests)!!
Three questions:
1. How did a center averaging 235 tests/day d preceding 2 days conduct 628?
2. Or, is 628 d total tests conducted over d last 3 days?
3. NO cases 2 days,& 50% +ve 3rd day? #Nepal #COVID19Nepal
And BAM, yesterday, 5. NMCTH reported 463 cases (& 628 tests)!!

No. of things just a little off there w/ reporting of tests & cases.
If d case, for instance, is that 628 is actually d total no. of tests conducted over 3 days, then #Nepal's test numbers are inflated!

Centers whose nos. are within yellow & purple circles performed tests & did NOT report any cases yesterday, did today.
In total 21 centers that did NOT report ANY cases yesterday 20 did today!

Where I imply or state that test centers reported “0” cases when d +I’ve cases box in Situation Report is BLANK, a more accurate description would be, “they didn’t report anything.”
Reason?, if no cases were detected, I imagine them reporting “0.”

to have begun (or resumed?)
testing on Oct. 2 (blue curve).
It report no cases, i.e. +ve case
box is blank (which, I assume,
does NOT = "0") until Oct. 8
when what it reports accounts
