I couldn’t sleep again last night, so here are Haikyuu characters as road/camping trip buddies.

Objectively and scientifically assessed based on 4 points (Reliability, Preparedness, Fun Level, and Driving Skills)

Reliability: 3/10 canonically can’t read maps and will get you both lost
Preparedness: 6/10 doesn’t know what to do with wild animals
Fun: 6/10 he’s just ok
Driving Skills: 7/10 has solid awareness of his surroundings but kinda prone to road rage

Overall: 5.5/10

Hinata Shoyo

Reliability: 8/10 has good communication skills and will get you out of most troubles
Preparedness: 4/10 puts everything you need in one bag but forgets it at his house
Fun: 9/10
Driving: 8/10 mindful driver but can go over the speed limit sometimes

Overall: 7/10

Nishinoya Yuu

Reliability: 10/10 good knowledge of survival skills and not afraid of anything
Preparedness: 10/10 a very experienced traveller
Fun: 7.5/10 fun guy but has questionable playlist
Driving: 3/10 probably have gotten his license revoked

Overall: 7.6/10

Kita Shinsuke

Reliability: 10/10 you can never go wrong with him
Preparedness: 10/10 he will research Everything before you go
Fun: 8/10 wholesome idol pop playlist you can sing along to
Driving: 10/10 he drives long distance often because of his farmer job

Tsukishima Kei

Reliability: 4/10 Absolutely does not want to get his hands dirty At All
Preparedness: 5/10 only prepares the bare minimum
Fun: 3/10 Complains A Lot about literally everything
Driving Skills: 6/10 can drive in the city but not on rural roads

Overall: 4.5/10

Akaashi Keiji

Reliability: 8/10 knows a lot of stuff, but a bit inexperienced outdoors
Preparedness: 9/10 might overprepare
Fun: 8/10 would enjoy sitting and reading with in front of a bonfire under a blanket
Driving: 6/10 also can’t drive in rural roads

Overall: 7.75/10

Bokuto Koutaro

Reliability: 4/10 will try to do things to impress you but still fails
Preparedness: 0/10 ???
Fun: 6/10 a great guy to be around but the fact that you’re gonna have to do 98% of the preparation probably isn’t that fun
Driving: 2/10 just no

Overall: 3/10 sorry :(

Kenma Kozume

Reliability: 8/10 he’s loaded, he prob has an amex black card
Preparedness: 4/10 I don’t even think he has the will to prepare at all
Fun: 6/10 absolutely hates the outdoors but will still go if you drag him along
Driving: 6/10 a passable driver imo

Overall: 6/10

Suna Rintarou

Reliability: 6/10 kinda flaky
Preparedness: 7/10 but most of the stuff he prepares is for himself only
Fun: 9/10 great jokes, great playlist, has opinions about everything which is always interesting to listen to
Driving: 3/10 texts and drives

Overall: 6.25/10

Miya Atsumu

Reliability: 6/10 strong, but has no other survival skills
Preparedness: 5/10 also does bare minimum preparation
Fun: 7/10 good playlist, funny but kinda annoying once you’re around him for more than 2 hours
Driving: 4/10 you cant trust him behind the wheels

Reliability: 10/10 trustworthy, resourceful, manual labor tested
Preparedness: 9/10 brings lots of snacks
Fun: 10/10 very chill, great convo, can be a little shit sometimes but in a funny way
Driving: 9/10 drive smooth and mindful

Overall: 9.5/10 superior twin

Sakusa Kiyoomi

Reliability: 0/10 will never touch anything in the wilderness because he’s afraid to catch some rare zoonotic disease
Preparedness: 8/10 too prepared
Fun: 0/10 whole time he’ll stare at you with murderous intent for dragging him along
Driving: 6/10
