If you follow conservative media, you know that Fox spends an awful lot of time criticizing strong female elected officials like @GovWhitmer and @AOC. PS: The fact that they are also considered to be *beautiful* is not a coincidence.

The misogyny that is baked into the hateful attacks on these women is about power and about a sense of what the role of women is *supposed to be*.

Especially these women.

I think about these men storming the Capitol and then plotting an attack on their Governor... because they are pissed she’s “telling them what to do...”

That’s called living in a society with rules, folks. It’s like the mere notion that a female leader is enforcing these rules triggers something primal and hateful in these little boys.

And the right’s fixation on their faces is grotesque.

It’s like a reverse objectification:

Look at these women. They’re attractive. And they are the enemy.
