Ok, why are people acting baffled about Biden's responses on expanding the court? Even if you *want* him to give a clear answer, the reasons why he won't are obvious. The decision is clearly contingent on what the GOP does. Biden's leaving the threat open.

Also people who are like, "Why won't the Democrats do SOMETHING" should note that most party leaders are leaving the option to expand the Supreme Court open as an actual threat, and that is, in fact, a big freaking deal.

Like Democrats are actually doing good, obvious strategy here, such that they are taking positions that will put them in a place of power to carry out the threat they are making. Meanwhile some are acting as if this is Small Fries, while others are feigning obliviousness.
