The amount of shit I get from my friends and family for finding happiness & comfort in Disney is astounding. You may think it's childish or stupid, but if it wasn't for Disney, I would've committed suicide a long ass time ago.

No, I don't replace my therapy with disney, but disney has gotten me through moments that therapy couldn't. Disney has been a consistent piece of happiness for me for years, meanwhile, therapy hasn't. Disney was there for me when therapy wasn't.

I don't give a flying fuck how stupid or silly this sounds to anyone. You aren't in my situation nor are you living my life. You don't get to dictate what's helped me and what hasn't, nor do you get any fucking opinion in what makes me happy.
