I really wish the Wall Street Journal had read Proof of Corruption, because all of this info is in the book. I don't know why WSJ is darkly noting what "we knew" prior to today, as readers of the Proof series and this Twitter feed read excerpts covering this data over the summer. https://twitter.com/WSJ/status/1314358675641905152
PS/ The COVID-19 timeline—the one thing media *had* to get right prior to Election Day—it got wrong. And it got it wrong because it didn't read its own reporting, as curated and compiled and endnoted in Proof of Corruption, but *Trump's claims* in Bob Woodward's book.

*Amazing*.
PS2/ In fact, the *reason* major media *rejected* the numerous (ironically) *major-media* reports of the Trump White House, Pentagon, NATO, and IDF getting briefed on the virus in November 2019 is because it *disbelieved* its *own reports* establishing that timeline as plausible.
PS3/ To simplify: as recorded in Proof of Corruption, all the data puts the coronavirus in China by late September 2019, and in America by December 2019 at the latest. So repeated November 2019 military-intelligence briefings of the White House—reported by major media—make sense.
PS4/ In contrast, the 100% made-up timeline presented by Bob Woodward in his recent book—created by simply transcribing Trump's lies—puts off any real awareness of the virus in America until the very end of January 2020, making November 2019 White House briefings seem impossible.
PS5/ This was the biggest story in America this century—and media had to get it right. Accurate info was available in my book and elsewhere, but for some reason I still don't understand, everyone waited for Bob Woodward to check in with his rote transcription of all Trump's lies.
PS6/ Now the WSJ—with a bit over three weeks until the election—is just *starting* the process of correcting the false timeline Trump spread via Woodward. But it's probably too late for Americans broadly writ to understand that the Trump White House knew of the virus in November.
PS7/ A lot of folks who wanted to see the truth get out through the Proof books thought that this feed having 850,000 followers—and millions of impressions for many of the tweets posted here—would do it. But that's not how it works. Major media has to care about getting it right.
PS8/ Woodward got it wrong—badly wrong—just as he did in saying in FEAR there was no collusion, only to have the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence confirm what the PROOF books already had, which is that there was wall-to-wall collusion. Then Woodward got COVID-19 wrong too.
PS9/ We still don't know how to evaluate info in this country. We evaluate reputation, celebrity, pedigree, friendships, and a lot of other things that don't determine whether info is accurate or not. I'm sorry the accurate info in the PROOF books didn't get much wider attention.
PS10/ I don't know which books historians will most value in 2050—but I *do* know it won't be books that used known liars as their primary sources, and I *do* know that it won't be celebrity tell-alls. But those two categories of books are the ones media covered in the Trump era.
