With low bandwidth video (240P/480i) S-Video is absolutely gorgeous and is 1000% a high quality video source.
The @retrotink2 is of the few devices that competently process S-Video. The Framemeister is one of the worst.

What is the main difference between S-Video and YPbPr?
Other than the color components (differences) being separated, component video supports much, much, much higher bandwidth. S-Video is limited to modulated video in the 3.58/4.43 MHZ space.

I'm really looking forward to showing you guys how good S-Video looks on the PC-E.
