I know I have this happy-go-lucky, kind of a dipshit (in a good way?), dorky image, but I& #39;m about to get real with you guys because I want to share this amazing experience I just had with myself. That& #39;s what she said. It might be a long one, but it& #39;s because I have a lot to say.

If you don& #39;t know, I have body dysmorphia. Bad. To the point where I get mild hallucinations of what I see in the mirror and reality. It& #39;s gotten so bad where I lose my temper when people give me a compliment because I& #39;d perceive it as them lying to make me feel better.

Basically, I have zero self love. I have loads of self hatred to make up for it though, but I finally decided enough was enough. So I started writing daily compliments to myself on my mirror so I HAVE to see how rad I am every day. It& #39;s almost full! But that& #39;s not the good news.

This might be TMI but it& #39;s important. I got distracted by the compliments that I forgot to get fully dressed. I stood there almost naked and felt every part I& #39;m insecure about - and it was exactly what I saw in the mirror. Bitch, I literally fell to the floor sobbing.

This road to self love is hard. Learning to love my body is harder. But today I overcame an obstacle that& #39;s been plaguing me for LITERALLY over a decade. I hated how every inch of me looked and I couldn& #39;t trust anyone& #39;s perception, even my own. But now I can, and now I do.
