BLACKBOARD does other things aswell!

- from a lecturer
besides provide students with module information, learning materials, online classes, those annoying group emails, etc. Blackboard can show the lecturer/coordinator/department exactly who has accessed material, when they did so, how many downloads they did, how much time
they spent engaging with material etc. This can be particularly useful at the end of semester/year for gauging student performance and may determine grades if student has not bothered to read/engage with their module requirements or has given non-certified excuses throughout
the module as to why they did not engage with prescribed material. Its not NUIG, it is every institution that uses Blackboard, or its equivalent, globally.
