this song talks about what it’s like to have a friend that is going through a lot, wanting to harm themselves. a lot of people including myself can relate to this. “Is it true is it true? You you, You're so beautiful, that I'm scared.”

the song is comparing their friend to a beautiful butterfly, loving but fragile. they don’t want them to fly away and leave them. their scared of that.
this song is also referring to the HYYH (the most beautiful moments in life album) story. basically, if you haven’t read the web comics explaining the story, Jin goes back in time constantly trying to save the members “the butterfly effect”.
for instance jimin in the story is suicidal, hoseok has a medical condition that causes him to pass out. taehyung tries to jump off an boardwalk, jungkook gets hit by a car, then yoongi lights a motel on fire burning himself alive. jin has to save them.
