Today Home Office published EU Settlement Scheme statistics.
Numbers show that since launch 1 in every 41 applications concluded without grant of (Pre-)Settled Status.

There's been a marked change since Brexit Day when only 1 in 140 applications concluded without grant of status
In September 1 in every 13 processed EU Settlement Scheme applications concluded with no grant of either Pre-Settled or Settled Status.
1 in every 30 EU Settlement Scheme applications concluded in September was refused. Until the end of January 2020 there had be zero refusals.
In September 1 in every 51 applications concluded by the Home Office were either void or withdrawn. At the end of January 2020 that was 1 in every 184 applications.
1 in every 45 EU Settlement Scheme applications concluded with status invalid in September. Again this is a sharp rise versus the End of January of this year when only 1 in 581 applications were deemed invalid.
Overall, since launch of the scheme almost 94,000 applications resulted in no grant of status. Of which 74,100 of these decisions made during the last 8 months since February. Compared with 19,500 such decisions in the 16 months to end of January 2020.
