I fell in love with English at 12. I fell in love with British culture as a teenager. I studied English at uni & came here with the 1st Erasmus exchange. I married a gorgeous English boy.For 33 yrs I felt like an EU citizen at home in the UK. In 2016 they demoted me to immigrant.
It felt cruel and unjust at first but after 4 yrs of abuse, gaslighting, threats & telling me I'm not welcome, they've succeeded: I not only feel like an alien here now, I have come to embrace it. That's the only power of the victim. I mourn my beloved lost home. #InLimboVoices
