improvement is not an insult generally, but in jisoo’s case this doesn’t sit right with me for a peculiar reason. none of the other pinks had to face these compliments in disguise as much as her who has always been attached to that term which gives it a pejorative connotation.

this perpetual attribution makes it sound as if she wasn’t on their level or had to catch up with them. bp’s bbhmm cover was the starting point of it all. judging someone’s skills on a single move, sounds absurd right? well that’s exactly what blinks did with jisoo.

until then, the thought of jisoo being the lacking member has been plastered all over their minds, they’ve been blinded by the truth and therefore discrediting her great aptitudes that were present from the very start.

blinks constructed and solidified this unwholesome narrative throughout the years, without questioning themselves one bit which makes it even more irritating. the only thing that tremendously increased is her confidence while performing.

complimenting her normally like the others won’t hurt one bit i promise, so stop funding your thoughts on false assumptions, take off your blinders and see herself as the great performer that she is and has always been.
