if you're a cis woman and you just don't want to get pregnant, the doc will literally throw you a scrip for eternal progesterone.

but they wont prescribe one bit for trans women because they claim there's no evidence it works (there is)

if you're a cis woman or cis man with a low libido, you can be very easily prescribed testosterone (topical for women or otherwise for men) with a little bit of advisory caution.

but trans men in UK currently wait years on NHS GICs appointments for what is life-saving treatment

what terfs want is for trans children to be refused blockers that cis children can already be prescribed if early onset puberty occurs, or that puberty may bring about changes that could put the child at risk

like... i dunno... unwanted puberty does for trans children...

the NHS has been clearly underfunded by successive governments to be unable to care adequately for trans people for at least a decade to prevent these delays in treatments.

the fault lies squarely at the feet of the @Conservatives in England and @theSNP (sadly) in Scotland

terfs are relying on the regressive backbones of conservatives who'd have been homophobes in the 90s, but only quietly wished the queers to go away behind closed doors.

now they have the power to challenge well-established treatment regimes, to quietly harm trans people & kids

there are small but vocal groups with ears of the powerful who have teamed up with the regressive elements in government.
i call on the current minister @trussliz to address this, but personally, i hold no faith in a tory to do right by the marginalised of this country.

i join the voices of others to work collectively at local levels and gain the trust and ears of local politicians and medical experts because this won't get fixed from a top-down perspective with these governments.

I'd like to hear then come out against transphobia though...
