Best way to find CLIENTS for copy freelancing?

Many think it can be a hard process, I’m hear to tell you it’s not.

1. Look for Google Ads!

When you do a search for your market, look for the websites that are using Google Ads.

This means they are paying to grow their business and probably know a thing or two about copy, something you could make better!
Google Ads ensure that they are trying to reach a bigger audience.

If you can write copy that sells, you’ll make them a lot of money.

Making the Google Ads companies a lot better to work with.
2. Do they need your help?

Look through their website and see if they could use some copy help.

This might be...

- the description on their ad
- better headlines or copy through their descriptions
- maybe a new landing page would be best

If they don’t need your help leave!
3. Find a way to contact them!

You’re going to cold email these people, so you need to find their email.

The best way to do this is through http://hunter.io

1. Signup for a free account
2. Type in the website
3. Get email addresses from their team
4. Send some cold emails!

@blackhatwizardd has helped my cold emails significantly (so check him out).

Key takeaways:

- Subject line = “Quick Question about {company name}”
- Ideal email length is around 20 seconds long
- Personalize your email to this specific client!
5. Keep sending emails!

It might take awhile to perfect a good email, keep using it once you do (keep it personal though).

A good start is to shoot for 5-10 every day. Within a couple of days you should be able to get a reply.

It might be longer, everything takes time.
It’s a fairly simple process, but you still need to put in the work to get it done.

Set a daily goal of emails you want to send and get it done before lunch every day.

If you have any questions please DM me, I’m here to help!

Once again, good luck!
