Yesterday I reached out to 2 ladies who claimed to be broke, hungry & needed 200naira to get noodles to feed their kids on Twitter.
Alot of people called them scam, referred to them as beggers, while some said they ought to have used the money they used to buy data to buy food

I read it and I felt sad, I know what it feels like to having nothing. I took my time to go through their profile and replies and I found that was basically what they have been posting for days.
They were on virtually every give away and had little or no meaningful interaction with people except begging for funds.
I asked for location from them after going through their profile and contents and engaged them and got their contacts.
I placed a call to the first one.
She claimed she was in her landlord& #39;s house using his hotspot and when I called she was in her room on the bed covered

I asked of her child at about 07:56 pm and she claimed her child wasn& #39;t at home.
At to eight a little child is out of the compound not with the mother and shes online comfortably.
I told her to call me when he was back.
Till now no call.

I called the second one who claimed she lost her job to covid, it could happen to anyone and she needed money to buy baby food. She said she doesn& #39;t have a phone that can WhatsApp.
She sounded convincing and I asked her to send her account no, name, phone no.

I called back to tell her the phone no wasn& #39;t correct or she sent another number.
I saved it and discovered shes on WhatsApp.
I didnt send money immediately.
This morning I saw her status.

But then I am highly disappointed by young focks who create new account to be beggers.
If you can put in so much energy to lies and deceit then you are smart enough

to make legit money. Imagine how many people would have reached them to help with knowing they are scam.

Before my other account was suspended I reached out to one who sent a dm that she needs 2k. She explained and I was touched. I didnt know they have mastered the act of conviction.
