kind of fucked up how everything on this app revolves around american politics but when the uk has been constantly going through the most overt and targeted attack on trans people, especially literal children, i don't see any americans on my tl saying anything

like idk i know there's reasons to invest yourself in some things & not others but when literally every person on my tl is tweeting abt how to help the US deal w every shitty thing trump does it sucks that our rights are slipping away one by one & nobody is doing shit to help us

i feel like most non-brits on here don't even realise how bad it actually is. there's a national hate campaign against us, the media is uplifting & pitying transphobic lies abt us, our actual material rights are gradually getting taken more & more from us. we're fucking scared.

you know the most recent thing? real trans people all over the country have had their hrt stolen from them because of terf lobbying leading to clinics being banned from providing us medical care. please listen to us. british trans people really fucking need help.
