It is true that the Igbo have been very unfairly treated in Nigeria and are entitled to their demand to opt out of this union.
It is also true that inspite of the manifest injustice, they still fare mostly better than most other groups mostly from individual effort.
While this may sound insensitive, I'd like for them to reflect and know that opting out of Nigeria will imperil the well-being of the Middle Belt and the North and infact, other minorities.
I have often said that it was sad that minorities outside the defunct Biafra joined in the annihilation of their Christian brethren during the civil war, something other religions would never countenance or tolerate if it had been the case.
The Igbo should know that they're the counterweight to the spread & domination of retrogression in Nigeria. They should reflect and find creative ways to make this union work instead of abandoning their brethren and other minority groups who's fate is certain if Biafra succeeds.
This is a personal opinion and should not attract insults please.
We all want a better Nigeria that the black race will be proud of.
Let us stop this train to nowhere, this haemorrhage, let us restructure Nigeria.
