Why the animated HSH MV is a genius move by #SB19 (a thread)

Ok, I’ve calmed down somewhat & made some realisations while I was taking a long, hot shower

(1) Doing a fully animated MV makes total sense given the current pandemic. Shooting a live action MV would require a crew of stylists, make up artists, set assistants, videographers & other production specialists.

(2) With an animated MV, you eliminate the risk of people getting infected, remove risk of spending money if people do get infected, so on & so forth.

The biggest downside is that an animated piece probably takes more time to produce

(3) So now we understand why it has taken them so long to release it. I think they’re both waiting for the timing of the YTFF2020 & the launch of their other endorsements (i.e. Pepsi, TM, LuckyMe) to create noise

(4) Also, this type of MV would introduce #SB19 to a new demographic. The animator/studio has their own following, who are most likely not A’tin. Showcasing this as part of their body of work would pique the curiosity of animation enthusiasts.

(5) Another demographic who can be targeted by this MV are those who think they’re “too cool to watch an MV of a boygroup” . I would have counted myself as one of these if I am not an A’tin ahahaha

(6) And allowing one of the members to direct it & the whole group to conceptualise it & crediting them on the actual MV - would showcase the other talents of #SB19 that non-fans & casual listeners are not aware of

(7) This is their way of telling the world that they’re very serious about levelling up PPop & OPM, & they are ARTISTS who deserve respect & recognition
