My Take On Fine Line-- a long but necessary thread. xx
I'll start by saying that Fine Line is a very heartfelt album that describes freedom, coming out and facing the fears you know you have. It's about being you without being subjected by what anyone says, acting out in the way that makes YOU happy, and that's what Harry wants us ++
++ To see. I'll start with the Album cover, which explains this further. The Album cover was taken with a Fisheye lens camera, and even though this has to do with the era of music he deals with (I made my research), it has some other meanings:
-- It shows us that we have to look beyond the horizon, expand our views, and that's exactly what I did with the album.
Harry once said in an interview that the album is meant to be listened to chronologically, (Not exactly in his words but that's what he said) and that raised++
++ A lot of questions as to why he said that. But I decided to do the the reverse, listening to the songs from down to the top, not from the top to the bottom. And it opened my eyes to see a lot of things, and I'll share them with all of you.

I'll start with FINE LINE, No. 12.
++ We already know in articles that Harry created Fine Line (the song) on January 2018, making it the first song on the album.
It's like he's telling himself that everything would be alright, no matter how long he's been in the dirt. Fine Line is a reassurance piece and it's++
++Quite personal if you could ask me. It talks about how he restrains himself from doing what he wants to do 'My hand's at risk, I fold'. It a very nice piece, and I listened to it over and over again because I knew something was overly familiar, listen:
That's the ending of Fine Line, at it's the sound of a Cathedral clock when it strikes 12! I'm still trying to figure out what that is, maybe he's trying to tell us that there would be a time when everything would be alright, and I think the time came!

Next song, TPWK, No. 11
Treat People With Kindness has an upbeat tone, some happy song that's spreading happiness and kindness. He has been reassuring himself that he'll be alright and now he's talking about a 'Place to feel good.' He's still looking for the place, but he knows he'll find it.
'Feelin' good in my skin' he's also feeling a lot better about himself, thinking of that person he'll take when he finds a place to feel good.

Next song. Canyon Moon, No.10.
What if Canyon Moon is not about a moon, rather a house or an actual place or location?

'Staring at the ceiling
Two weeks and I'll be home
Carry the feeling
Through Paris, all through Rome
And I'm still thinking back to
A time under the canyon moon'
Now if we follow everything, he did find a place to feel good, and that's under the Canyon Moon!

Next song. Sunflower, Vol. 6, No. 9.
'Wondering headshake
Tired eyes are the death of me
Mouth full of toothpaste
Before I got to know you
I've got your face
Hung up high in the gallery
Out of this shade (sunflower, sunflower)'

Some tweets show that Sunflower was said in reverse if we could play it backwards but ++
++ This person to 'Let me inside' so he can 'Get to know you'.
The person he's trying to know is still a bit closed up, and he's wishing the person could open up some more.
But look at this, the significance of a sunflower:
Summary now: Reassurance, a place to feel good, actually found it, wants the person he's referring too to be more open!

Next song. She, No. 8.
To me, I believe She us just metaphor, or an abbreviation. But it being a metaphor goes well, so I'll stick with it. It's also an expression, but I doubt it's about a woman.

'She (she)
She lives in daydreams with me (she)
She's the first one that I see
And I don't know why'
'Lives for the memory
A woman who's just in his head (just in his head)
And she sleeps in his bed (his bed)
While he plays pretend (pretend)
So pretend (pretend)
She (she)'

I doubt it's about a woman, maybe it is, maybe it's not. But I believe it's not about one, given that++
I refer to the She as a 'She' with a hypen! Like it's a general word to cover up something, now look at this:

'I don't know who 'She' is'
Makes more sense to me :-)

And the numbers, 9 and 132 are significant, saw a tweet about it but STILL DIDN'T BOOKMARK IT. Comment if++
++ You see it.

Next song. To Be So Lonely. No. 7.
Tbsl is actually one of my favorite songs on the album and even though it sounds open, it's still a secret book. The beginning sounds like a Telephone, and you hear that when it's ringing, when someone's calling you.

It talks about him receiving a call from a drunk caller++
'Don't blame me for fallin'
I was just a little boy
Don't blame the drunk caller
Wasn't ready for it all
You can't blame me, darling
Not even a little bit'

++and he wasn't ready for the call. The chorus, however, looks like what he replied the person with:
'Don't call me "baby" again
You got your reasons
I know that you're tryna be friends
I know you mean it
But don't call me "baby" again
It's hard for me to go home
Be so lonely'

He also admits he's arrogant, jealous, and lonely, such a huge contrast to what he expressed himself++
++ As in Sunflower, Vol. 6.

He's coming down from his high peak of joy, admitting that he's very lonely. That's what takes us to Falling.

Next song. Falling, No. 6.
I have a feeling Falling is a continuation of Tbsl. How he felt after the talk with the drunk caller. He felt remorseful, and sad, allowing the water to drown him.

'Forget what I said
It's not what I meant
And I can't take it back
I can't unpack the baggage you left'
Now he's not accepting himself anymore, detesting the fact that he exists.

'What am I now?
What am I now?
What if I'm someone I don't want around?
I'm fallin' again
I'm fallin' again
I'm fallin'
What if I'm down?
What if I'm out?
What if I'm someone you won't talk about?'
'You said you cared
And you missed me, too
And I'm well aware I write too many songs about you
And the coffee's out
At the Beachwood Café
And it kills me 'cause I know we've run out of things we can say'

NOW, LOOK AT THIS: ANY SIMILARITIES?
He also admits he writes to many songs about the person. :-)

Next song. Cherry, No 5.
I also feel Cherry is connected with Tbsl and Falling, but this one is different because he's talking to the person now, with no sadness and no liquid courage.

'I, I confess
I can tell that you are at your best
I'm selfish so I'm hating it'

He's also being open :-)
'As for the ending:
Coucou!
Tu dors?
Oh, j'suis désolée
Bah non
Nan c'est pas important
Ouais, on Ă©tait Ă  la plage, et maintenant
Parfait, ok!'

Translated:

'Hello!
You sleep?
Oh, I'm sorry
No
Nah it's not important
Yeah, we were at the beach, and now
Perfect, ok!'
Next song. Lights Up, No. 5.

He's finally taking a stand with his emotions, stepping into the light; being open.

'Shine, step into the light
Shine, so bright sometimes
Shine, I'm not ever going back
Shine, step into the light'

And he also said he's never going back.
Summary: Reassurance, a place to feel good, he found it, wants his favourite person to be open, avoiding playing pretend, broke down in a call, fell into self bitterness, finally became sober and packed himself back up, stepping into the open and never going back.
Next song. Adore You, No. 3.

Adore You has hidden clues in it, just like how the beginning sounds like the radar/ navigator in a Submarine. The video also has clues, and I picked up a few:

To lose your smile is like losing your identity, and that was what happened when he++
+was smaller
Another one: 'Without friendship, we are lost and left with no hope, no home, no harbour.'

Harry stated that the fish is a 'He' and he fed the fish tacos. The fish was golden in colour, but changed into a rainbow, and Harry made a fish clothing (🌈 mix) for the fish
And at the ending, I picked up that 'Society just needs to give the fish the right push to let him go'.

Now everyone is free, there are obvious changes now. Harry releases his trapped voices one by one now, even though he just opened a bottle and he FINALLY SAILS AWAY, WITHOUT++
++TELLING HIS MATES :-)

Next song. Watermellon Sugar, No. 2
Watermellon Sugar is a love song. He's free now, describing how that person is to him. I personally believe that Watermellon Sugar has the same rawness Medicine is, but he's not afraid to hide himself now.
He's open:-)

Last song. GOLDEN, NO. 1.
Golden is a sad song that was just given an upbeat melody, but he's open about a lot of things now.

'I don't wanna be alone
I don't wanna be alone
When it ends
Don't wanna let you know
I don't wanna be alone
But I, I can feel it take a hold (I can feel it take a hold)'
'I can feel you take control (I can feel you take control)
Of who I am and all I've ever known
Loving you's the antidotecan feel you take control)
Of who I am and all I've ever known
Loving you's the antidote
Golden'

I'm waiting for the mv to confirm some things actually but++
This also doesn't make any sense but hear me out. Harry is very particular with numbers, because if he wasn't, he wouldn't be talking about the length of the songs in interviews.

All the songs take 46 minutes and 43 seconds to listen to.
I did a rough calculation, and look at++
