politicians are almost exclusively evil, and those that aren’t either water down their proposed policies or platforms to get them accepted or get crucified. too many people lose no matter who wins. it’s up to you whether u think ‘harm reduction’ is at all useful. jb is a bad man.
and u can’t stop there either. if u call voting ‘harm reduction’ & therefore recognise that there is more harm to fight off, then you have a moral obligation to get out and fight that harm. a lot of people voting for harm reduction’s sake will not do anything after the election
because they are more invested in reclaiming an america pre-2016 than creating something better. a better world would require understanding how we arrived at this one, and liberals never want to do that. don’t be that person. vote or not, you have to do what u can to help.
vote or not, the politicians in power will kill people and they will kill the environment because they’re not invested in helping you. joe biden and kamala harris do not like you or want to help you, at least, not as priority number 1. their interests lie in their bank accounts
trump or not, the politicians in power will raze forests to get one dime richer. it’s how they’ve always worked.
if ur a young person committed to voting for biden and kamala, vote or whatever idc. but understand that if you really care, you will do what is in your power to make it so that whoever wins the election is irrelevant, that the world is a better place regardless.
and that better world will not have them in it.
