. @Cebr_uk’s report on the impact of the #CultureRecoveryFund predicts that the sector’s Gross Value Added (GVA) will return to its pre-lockdown level a full year earlier than anticipated without this vital support from @DCMS @HMTreasury
😊 This is great news for everyone! Arts and culture has an important part to play in helping our high streets get back on track, driving footfall to local shops and restaurants. More on this here >

Our sector employs over 230,000 people directly, and also supported £28.9 billion of GVA and 454,000 full time equivalent jobs through its supply chains.
💡 All this has a positive knock-on effect on the wider creative industries - which draw ideas, inspiration and talent from the arts and cultural sector, and contributed £100bn to the economy before lockdown.
There’s a lot of work ahead, but by investing in the #CultureRecoveryFund, the Government is helping to protect the sector, and ensure it can bounce back faster – which will benefit everyone. #hereforculture
