before we start you must know harry said he got inspiration from the album ‘blue’ by joni mitchell to write canyon moon and he listened to the ENTIRE album

1. the infamous “we don’t need no piece of paper from the city hall” tweet from harry was a lyric from one of joni’s songs called “My Old Man” this tweet was tweeted sept 29 just a day after sept 28 and we all know what day sept 28 is. (if you don’t, dm me)

2. the album is literally called blue and there is also a song called blue in it. if you didn’t know, louis’ color is blue in the band and it’s also his eye color. harry has an odd obsession with the color blue but it’s always a specific shade of blue. louis’ eye shade.

3. this is the song ‘Blue’, it mentions the tattoos harry has matching with louis. the anchor and ship. and ofc the blue again.

4. here we have “little green”, harrys color is green in the band and it’s also his eye color. harrys the youngest in the boy band and this might be a reach but im adding it cause it’s cute.. he also likes to be the little spoon

5. “last time i saw richard” talks about pretty lies. and also how the person looks dead in the eyes. but when he sings, its all about love. and also him marrying someone he shouldnt be with because hes not happy.

6. “Carey.”
“maybe i’ll go to amsterdam, maybe i’ll go to rome”... also the next line talks about a grand piano... aka falling MV (that might be a reach)

7. “The Flight Tonight” to be honest this song songs exactly like the beat to canyon moon...

8. “California”
talks about 2 weeks (the two week rule) coming home, browning skin (from fine line), the news, "will you take me as i am?" , another man, paris frace, rock n roll band, the rouge, sunset (lou is the sun),ect.

9. “All I Want” doesn’t say much in my opinion but it does talk abt wanting to be set free and jealousy,, perhaps he’s jealous of el getting to be shown with lou publicly?

10. “River” talks about how “he tired so hard to help me”... lou signed the contract so harry didn’t have to but it made things worse bc harry got seperated from harry (??)
