Hi! So um this might be lowkey really hard for me to tweet out since I never EVER told anyone about this aside from my family who obviously already know about this & Jenny ( @Megami2004) but in honor of Spina Bifida awareness month I decided to expose one of my biggest +
Insecurities I’ve had since I was super super young which I’m now realizing is lowkey super sad?? So let me just stop rambling for a second and say that I Grace a person with Spina Bifida wear Adult Dipers or as I’m more comfortable with calling them Pull-Ups/underpants +
Now I’m still very insecure about it mostly because I was picked on as a kid in school if my shirt ever rolled up slightly because then kids would see it and say like “ooo you wear diapers?” But I would always try to deny it every time and I realized that I can’t just hide this +
For the rest of my life as I grow up and everyone would find out somehow so that’s why I’m making this thread to show others that this is something that I have to live with for the rest of my life and i can’t change that even if I wanted to + I also wanted to start embracing +
And accepting my disability even more because I was always ashamed of it as a kid. But as I got older I realized that I can’t change who I am even if I wanted to so yeah also if you don’t like the fact or are uncomfortable with the fact that I wear Pull-ups then please kindly+
Unfollow me because I do not want nor do I appreciate any negativity or ableism on my tl thank you & Happy Spina Bifida Awareness Month!!
