My wife has a full schedule too with our newborn. She does the vast majority of housework, groceries, dinner prep, budgeting, etc.

We& #39;ve fallen into gender roles I& #39;m not really comfortable with, but practically speaking it& #39;s the only way we can manage.

And to those who say "But you chose to have kids, it& #39;s your own fault!"

Yes, you& #39;re right. But I also had no idea what I was getting into. No one ever showed me their daily schedule with kids before we got pregnant. No one told me just how much my stops being about my...

and my wife& #39;s interests. No one told me how stressful it is not having any down time. No one told me about all the things I& #39;d miss out on, or the opportunities I& #39;d have to say no to, or just the lack of motivation to do basic things like fix a dripping tap or send an email.
